You won’t be able to stop preparing this drink, Horchata water, to refresh yourself on hot afternoons, very easy and quick to make.
- 1 cup of long grain rice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ½ a cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
- 5 cups of evaporated milk
- 1 ½ cups of boiling water
- ½ a teaspoon of powdered cinnamon
First, soak the rice in boiling water, making sure the water covers it completely and add the cinnamon stick. Let it rest for at least 5 hours.
After this time, add it to the blender and blend until these ingredients are well-mixed and crushed.
Drain the preparation and pour it into a jar. Add the milk, the vanilla scent and the sugar. You can add a bit more water.
Before drinking, add some ice cubes and decorate sprinkling powdered cinnamon over it.
